Program Culture & Curriculum Consultation
Support for organizations developing inclusive program culture and youth-centered curriculum that reflects their students, staff, and community.
Description:
CYC helps teams strengthen both what they teach and how their program feels. This service may include reviewing existing curriculum, identifying gaps, designing lesson structures, integrating SEL and youth leadership, building inclusive practices, and infusing programming with belonging, wellness, youth voice, and prevention. The goal is not to sell a one-size-fits-all curriculum, but to help programs build something meaningful and usable for their own community.
Best For:
Programs creating new curriculum, improving existing activities, developing inclusive culture, building SEL or leadership lessons, strengthening belonging, or aligning curriculum with expanded learning goals.
Youth Leadership & Wellness Programs
Youth-facing workshops and leadership experiences that build confidence, identity, emotional awareness, belonging, and youth voice.
Description:
CYC designs youth-centered experiences that help young people feel seen, connected, and empowered to lead. Programs can be created as one-time workshops, multi-session series, leadership cohorts, wellness activities, youth summits, or small-group experiences. Each experience is tailored to the age group, setting, and goals of the organization.
Best For:
Youth leadership groups, SEL enrichment, wellness workshops, student voice initiatives, expanded learning programs, and prevention-centered youth programming.
Speaking & Inspirational Storytelling
Keynotes, panels, and facilitated conversations rooted in resilience, hope, belonging, and the belief that untapped potential lives inside every young person.
Description:
Alessia Garcia brings a grounded and deeply personal voice to conversations about youth development, belonging, resilience, foster care, military service, expanded learning, identity, and systems change. Her story speaks to what happens when young people grow up unseen, find their voice, and begin to understand that their lived experience can become a source of purpose, leadership, and impact.
Speaking engagements can be tailored for youth, educators, expanded learning teams, community partners, conferences, and leadership spaces. Each talk is rooted in the belief that every student carries untapped potential, and that the right spaces, relationships, and systems can help them see what is possible in themselves.
Best For:
Keynotes, panels, youth leadership events, staff retreats, conferences, community conversations, professional learning days, and events centered on resilience, belonging, youth voice, hope, and systems change.
